Discovery of Sanremo & Ospedaletti & Bussana Vecchia (Approx. 60 km flat route)
Departure directly from the hotel with the bike path that leads, along the sea, to Ospedaletti through the gallery with the Milan-Sanremo Museum.
Returning with the same, we will enter the streets of San Remo and have a delicious espresso in the center between the Ariston Theather and the Casino.
New Stop: Bussana Vecchia: the artists’ village, created from the ruins of an earthquake in 1880.
Around Dolceacqua and Monet's Painted Bridge (Approx. 70 km - Intermediate)
Road to Bordighera by the bicycle path, departure directly from the hotel.
From there we will take the road towards the ancient “Via Romana” that will take us to Camporosso – Mare, then the Nervia Valley along the Nervia River to Camporosso Alto.
Here the path leads us to the spectacular village of Dolceacqua, where we can enjoy a cappuccino or a good glass of Rossese wine with the view of the castle.
After that we will take the way back to the hotel.
Valloria, the village of painted doors & Imperia (Approximately 65 km - Intermediate)
We leave the Hotel towards Imperia, along the cycle path and take the Borgo Prino exit.
From here we climb for 15 km, passing through Dolcedo, up to Valloria: the town of 100 painted doors. After the tour of the doors painted by numerous artists, we enjoy the descent immersed in the olive groves of the Ligurian hinterland.
We take the cycle path by the sea that takes us back to the Hotel.
Taggia, Badalucco, Molini di Triora: the Argentina Valley (Approx. 70 km - Intermediate)
Starting from the Hotel, along the cycle path, towards Taggia, the second largest historical centre in our region.
From here we begin to climb in the Argentina Valley, among the various Ligurian villages that we encounter, Badalucco stands out. With its exposed stone houses and the two medieval humpback bridges, it deserves a stop.
We set off again and push on to Molini di Triora, which owes its name to the 23 mills that once existed along the Argentina and Capriolo waterways.
We then prepare to descend back to the valley and return to the Hotel.
On the way around the discovery of Cervo, a medieval village between land and sea (70 km approx. -Easy)
Departure directly from the hotel by bike to San Lorenzo al Mare.
Then we head east towards the port of Imperia Oneglia and then we take the “Incompliuta” cycle path to Diano Marina and further to the historical center of Cervo with a short climb of 1 KM to the Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista. Here we will spend some time on the panoramic terrace.
On the way back to the hotel, we stop in the historic town of Imperia Porto Maurizio (the Parasio).
Then we cycle back to the hotel.
From the olive groves of the Prino Valley to Cipressa (50 km approx - medium difficulty)
Departure directly from the hotel by bike to San Lorenzo al Mare.
Then we cycle in an easterly direction to Imperia and there we turn left and cycle through the dreamlike landscape of the Prino Valley, characterized by olive trees, to Dolcedo, a medieval castle characterized by the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle.
Here it is worth taking a coffee break before reaching the next place “Bellissimi”, the place of the paper balloons.
Our tour takes us first to Civezza and then to San Lorenzo al Mare with a beautiful view of the sea.
From here we cycle the penultimate climb of the famous Milan-Sanremo cycle race to Cipressa and then back to the hotel.
Here you can end the day comfortably on the beach or stroll through your holiday resort, which incidentally has the longest amount of sunshine in Liguria.
Departure & check out
Check out and return by bus to Nice International Airport (NCE).
